So many things are simply Functions of Time but they are mislabeled as different things, given attributes not necessary for what they are. Let me give you one example here. Books. What are books? What do you think they are?

Books are devices which transit information through Time to humans. That is all they are. They also transmit information through Space to a much much lesser extent but they are primitive forms to try to sense through Time using Space Aspects of the Environment, or 3D elements like paper, ink, with your visual sense not Time sensory abilities. not directly accessing the Time Environment to transit information.

So many things matter in Time as Time is part of our environment, it allows you to think, be conscious, work things out. Did you know I regard novels as too primitive forms of books? You are reading this in Hypertext, after all.

When awards are centered around the novel as they often are today, it is like rewarding someone for putting together a series of still photographs that one sees through a hole in some device as they whirl past, the images placed upon a looping, spinning wheel, then calling it a modern film, giving it an Emmy or an Oscar when it simply is an older, a far less Human Advancement that is best built upon, not glorified at the top. Novels are not the top but a mid to lower tier now, culturally.
